옆집 아줌마가 목단 한 뿌리를 같다.
놓고 가셨습니다.
꽃이 다 시들었습니다.
계단 밑에 정성스럽게 심어 놓았는데
꼭 살았으면 좋겠습니다.
오늘도 물을 듬뿍 주었습니다.
담장이가 윤이 납니다.
하나둘하나둘 담장을 기어오르며
풍성하게 자랍니다.
신기하게도 잘도 자랍니다.
기어오르는 솜씨가 수준급입니다.

시골집에는 돌틈사이로 줄기가 자라나 목단이 피었더군요. 벽과 돌틈사이...더 크기도 어려울텐데. 꽃이 함박 피어서 엄마가 "넓은 데 놔두고 그 틈으로 올라왔다"고 많이 아쉬워하세요..
