옆에 사는 작은 며느리가 내가 집을 비운 사이에
꽃 을 사와서 화병에 꽂아 놓고 갔다.
좁쌀 같이 자잘한 꽃이 다닥 다닥 붙어 있는
소박한 꽃인데 하룻밤 사이 노란색이 더욱 짙어져
만개를 하니 주위가 환 해졌다.
이 봄날 갖가지 화려한 꽃들이 세상을 수놓고 있는데
찔래꽃 분꽃 봉숭아 나팔꽃등 옛날 마당 한쪽에서
얌전히 피어 있던 소박한 꽃에 대한 향수가
더 내마음에 닿듯이 이 꽃도 은근히 정감 가는 꽃이다.
