약사 유리광 칠불 본원 공덕경

이에 모든 대중은 이런 일을 본 다음,
제각기 능력에 따라 하늘의 향기 나는 꽃과 바르는
향과 가루향 등을 가지고 여러 부처님들께 받들어 올리고,
모두 소리를 함께 하여 <거룩하십니다!>라고 찬탄하면서
바른 쪽으로 일곱 번 돌았다

그때 부처님들께서는 같은 음성으로 소리를 높여 말씀하셨다.
그대들 모든 사람과 천상대중은 마땅히 이렇게 알아야 하느니라.
만약 선남자, 선여인이나, 사회의 지도층 사람들이나 모든 사람들이

1. 이 신주(神呪)를 받아 지니고, 읽어 외우며
2. 남에게도 말하여 들려주고
3. 신묘한 향화로써 경전에 공양하되
4. 새 옷을 갈아입고 깨끗한 처소에서 팔재계를 지키며
5. 언제나 모든 중생에게 자비한 마음을 내면서 정성껏 공양한다면

한량없는 복(福)을 얻을 것 이니라(8-34)

Then all the masses saw these things,
each according to his ability, brought heavenly fragrant flowers, incense, powdered incense.

Then the Buddhas raised their voices in unison and said.
"All of you and the heavenly hosts should know this.
If good men, good women, those in leadership positions in society, and all people know that

1. Receive and keep this Shingon, read and memorize it, and
2. tell it to others and make them hear it
3. Offer sacred incense to the sutras.
4. Put on new clothes and keep the eight realms in a clean place.
5. Always make offerings with compassion for all sentient beings.

you will be blessed without limit (8-34).
