회사를 그만두고 전업스티미언이 되면서
생활이 단순해지고
움직이는 동선이 단순해지고
하는 일도 단순해 졌습니다.
아침일찍 일어나 아내의 포스팅을 도와주고
사람들의 글을 보다가 내 포스팅을 하고
약속했던 뉴비들에게 보팅을 하고
지인들에게 또는 익숙한 아이디에 보팅을 합니다.
아침식사를 하고 나서
아내가 타주는 커피를 마시고
당연하듯 고무장갑을 끼고 설걷이을 하고
청소를 하면 하루에 할일이 다 끝나버립니다.
우리 아파트에서
내가 제일 싫어하는 아저씨는
아파트 현관 앞에서
시도때도 없이 담배피우는 사람 입니다.
아파트 현관앞에 재털이를 비치하고
담배를 피우다가
경비아저씨와 대판 싸우고도
그장소에서 담배를 피웁니다.
몇일동안 현관에서 그 아저씨와 마주쳤습니다.
그아저씨 음흉하게 웃으며 내게 말을 겁니다.
"요즘 일 안하시나봐요 "
이 아저씨가 나를......
자신과 똑같은 놈팽이로 취급해 버립니다.
영어 실력을 키워서 영어로된 포스팅을 해보려고
영어학원에도 다니고
어린시절 꿈이었던 노래도 정식으로 배우고
하고싶었던 일들을 찾아서
지금도 할수있는 지를 생각 하고 있습니다.

아직은 정해진 산업구조 틀에 맞춰 일정한 일을 하는 장소로 출근과 퇴근을 하는 것을 '일하고 있다'라고 다들 생각하지요. 이러한 일에 대한 개념은 좀 더 다각화된 관계망과 플랫폼 위에서 다양한 형식으로 무언가를 산출하고 산출된 것을 공유하므로써 그 가치를 키울 수 있는 형태를 인정하지 않는 거 같습니다. 이를테면 글을 쓰고 다른 사람과 공유하는 것이 되겠지요. 굳이 거창하게 4차 산업혁명을 이야기하지 않아도 외국이나 주변을 자세히 보면 이러한 일자리에 대한 변화의 움직임은 벌써 있어왔는데 말이지요. 스티미언 충분히 매력적인 직업이라 생각합니다. 미래를 생각하며 일자리가 줄어들 것이라는 생각에 로봇이나 인공지능과 싸워야된다고 생각하지 쉬운데 결국은 그것들이 아닌 사람 사이의 문제가 되겠지요. 새로운 형태의 고용구조와 일의 개념에 대한 받아들임이겠지요. 스티미언에 대한 직업으로의 인식에 지지를 보냅니다.
